Pitching Option, Cespedes

The off-season is half way done. The National League East Division is getting harder and harder. I think the Marlins could go far with this team right now but they still need 1 more starter and possibly could sign Center Fielder Yoenis Cespedes.

Now that the Nationals trade 4 of their best Prospects for Gio Gonzalez, we need to look for another option possibly Joe Saunders mong their many options for starting pitching. Saunders, 30, went 12-13 with 3.69 ERA, 1.30 WHIP with 108 strikeouts in 212 innings for the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2011.

Another possible option signing Roy Oswalt, 34, went 9-10 with 3.69 ERA, 93 Strikeouts in 139 innings for Philadelphia Phillies in 2011.

Another possibility is resigning Javier Vazquez. Jon Morosi tweeted that he spoke with a executive who believes that Vazquez could still pitch in the 2012 after all, he hasn't announce his retirement.
Vazquez, 35, wasn't all great in the first half of the 2011 season, but he manage to get better in the 2nd half, he went 13-11 with 3.69 ERA, 1.18 WHIP with 162 Strikeouts in 192.2 innings for the Fish

Now that the Fish couldn't get C.J Wilson, they were offering a 6-Year 100 million deal. I think there trying to    get a Cheap Starting Pitcher, so they could save money for Yoenis Cespedes. Now that Fish are Favorites to Sign Cespedes, because the Yankees view Cespedes as too raw to justify the price tag, and favor a modest bid that will likely not be enough to land him. Cespedes 26 years-old will become a free agent sometime in January.

Thanks For Reading. Merry Christmas Marlins Fans!
