What Should The Marlins Do Next

The Marlins last week signed Heath Bell, Jose Reyes and Mark Buehrle, but you think that has what it takes for them to go all the way to the World Series? They have really big holes, they need a clutch hitter, another starting pitcher and a center fielder.

Since the Marlins didn't sign C.J. Wilson, they probably be looking to trade some of their prospects and also Gaby Sanchez for pitching. Possibly a trade for Gio Gonzalez, Matt Garza, Wandy Rodriguez. Possibly trade Matt Dominguez, Tom Koehler, Chris Volstad and Gaby for one of those pitcher.

Since Logan Morrison got knee surgery he could move to first base, Bonifacio could move to left field and the Marlins can sign Yoenis Cespedes, a talented Cuban who is 26 years old, who many view as Raul Mondesi-like or a more powerful version of Cameron Maybin.

Possibly sign Prince Fielder, sources say that the Marlins are not gonna make a run him, Marlins Official says  Prince can't drive Latin market like Pujols could have. But i still think that the Marlins will try to sign him. Imagine the line-up with Prince: Reyes, Bonifacio, Hanley, Prince , Stanton, Lomo. Prince is a clutch hitter and with that lineup it would be really tough for pitchers.

Also the Marlins can get cheap players but fan favorite: Dontrelle Willis, Juan Pierre, Livan Hernadez and Cody Ross, Greg Dobbs, Ivan Rodriguez .

  1. Prince will want a ridiculously high AAV that we can not offer. even when Pujols was interested in Miami it was for 20m a year. Fielder will want in on the 25m action and i dont see us there.
