Marlins Offseason Recap and Our 2012 Line-Up Prediction

The Marlins are having a really good off-season, by signing 3 Free Agent Jose Reyes, Heath Bell and Mark Buehrle, those players will help us out and try go all the way to the playoffs. They Resigned Gregg Dobbs to a 2 year deal and signed Aaron Rowand to a Minor League Deal, also traded Burke Badenhop to the Rays for Jake Jafferies, they released Clay Hensley and he became a Free Agents. They gave a contract to Donnie "Bleeping" Murphy.

What Are The Marlins Going To Do Next?

  • On January 15 Yoenis Cespedes will become a Free Agent according to sources, and look for the Marlins and Tigers to battle it out for Cespedes, the Marlins would offer Yoenis a $30-$60 Million Range For 4 Years.

  • The Nationals are unlikely to sign Prince Fielder due to his Price, there is a "99" Percent chance that the Nationals won't sign him according baseball sources, According to MLB, Prince wants something close to the Albert Pujols Deal which is 10 years and $240 million. I don't think the fish are gonna pay him that either.

Here is Our Current Prediction On The 2012 Marlins Line-Up:
1. Jose Reyes SS
2. Emilio Bonifacio CF
3. Hanley Ramirez 3B
4. Mike Stanton RF
5. Logan Morrison LF
6. Gaby Sanchez 1B
7. John Buck C
8. Omar Infante 2B

Bench: Gregg Dobbs, Bryan Peterson, Brett Hayes and Donnie Murphy.m

Reyes, Bonifacio and Hanley can give this lineup a lot huge amount of speed in the top of the order.

Marlins signed Reyes and their hoping he will play like he did in 2011 season. Reyes, 28, batted .337 with 7 HR with 44 RBI and 39 SB. Reyes won the 2011 NL Batting Title for the Mets and was voted to be starting Short Stop for the National League in the 2011 All Star Game but he did not participate due to a strained left hamstring. Here My Predicion on Reyes: .325 AVG with 7 HR and 58 RBI and 34 SB

Bonifacio just needs to do what he did last year, he batted .296 with 5 HRs with 36 RBI and 40 SB, he had a 26 hitting streak and was awarded Player Of The Month for the National League In July. Predicion on Bonifacio: 288 AVG 3 HR 40 RBI and 46 SB

There is a lot are critics on 2011 Hanley, he batted .243 with 10 HR and 45 RBI. Hanley, 28, had shoulder surgery on September 15, 2011 and is expected to be ready for Opening Day and hopefully will get better numbers in 2012. Here is My Prediction on Hanley .303 AVG with 23 HR and 90 RBI and 33 SB

We all we all know that Stanton is getting better and better, Stanton last year batted .262 with 34 HR with 87 RBI and a OBP at .356. All we gotta say is: Is This Year is Stanton MVP Year? Here is My Prediction on his 2012 stats: Stanton Will Bat .280 with 38 Home Runs and 112 RBI, and will be MVP Candidate.

Logan Morrison was a lot different from his 2010 to his first completed season in 2011. 2010 Morrison had a really good batting AVG which was .283, but 2011 Morrison hit 23 Home Runs. I would say Morrison well be better this season, he will enter his 2nd Season, since in 2010 he only played 62 games. Here is My Prediction, LoMo would be better in his batting Average a similar to his 2010 season .287 with 25 HR and 80 RBI.

Gaby Sanchez is coming off a pretty good season, he had a very good first half of the season and was vote to participate in the All Star Game, but had a very bad, here are his 2011 Stats: AVG .266 with 19 HR and 78 RBI. Gaby will enter his 4th Year of MLB experience, He need to do the same too but, just have a better second half. Predicion: .272 AVG with 22 HR and 90 RBI

The Marlins were expecting a lot More from John Buck, Buck was coming of a All-Star year with the Blue Jays in which he hit 20 HR and 66 RBI, but he did pretty good for us last season which batted 16 HR and 57 RBI. My Prediction on Buck would be 18 HR and 63 RBI.

Infante started the 2011 season in a slump, but in the second half he was getting hotter hotter but an injury force him to not play for a while. Here are My Prediction on Infante: .300 AVG with 9 HR and 50 RBI
