The Marlins were high bidders for Pujols and Wilson. But could'n get none.
The Marlins were offering a 10-year, $275 million deal to Albert Pujols, but sign with the Angels for $254MM, 10-year deal with a full no-trade clause. The Marlins could have gotten Pujols only they gave him a no-trade clause.
As for C.J Wilson the Marlins were offering a $100MM, 6-years, but he sign with his Hometown tea
